SFMOMA contracted Bad Art Club to design and produce a public art activation for museum visitors to complement their Matisse’s Femme au chapeau: A Modern Scandal exhibit. The activation was held on September 17, 2026 in the White Box Theatre of SFMOMA.

Staff Wellbeing · August 2026
The Side By Side Project brought in Bad Art Club to do a back-to-school training for their 38-person staff at The Hunt School, a nonprofit, nonpublic school that provides students (K-12) with an individualized education that addresses emotional and behavioral challenges. Their goal was to integrate new staff members, deepen existing bonds, and adopt new tools to support their students in the classroom.

Healing Arts · Monthly since March 2026
Since March 2026, Bad Art Club has led a monthly, pro bono, bilingual healing arts workshop for residents in early addiction recovery at The Latino Commission’s recovery homes in San Bruno.

Saint Joseph’s Arts Society invited Bad Art Club to design a playful, novel art activation for Club Curiosity, the unofficial kick-off party to SF Art Week. Over four hours, 150 guests wove 300+ strips of reclaimed fabric into a collective tapestry.
