Bad Art Club is taking over the Creative Lounge at The Faight during the Haight Summer Art Walk! This time we’re making a giant collective “SCRAP”ESTRY that tells a story only we can tell together.
The requirements are simple:
Be Yourself
Do Your Worst
Make Art Together
Expect to walk in, pick a prompt, throw some paint on a fabric scrap, and weave your creative contribution into our collective masterpiece.
Stay for 5 minutes or 5 hours…Bring a friend, your kid, or come solo…Just come on by and get a feel for what Bad Art Club is all about!

This time we're going to use paints, magazine clippings and random objects to express our mixed emotions. Let’s envision a better world and make really profound, super sh*tty art about it…play like our lives depend on it…break all of the rules and relish in the opportunity to genuinely connect with other humans.

Scribbling Nonsense & Calling It Poetry
Think poetry, but there’s nothing pretentious or profound about it. We’re going to mix in a hefty dose of nonsense and then follow our streams of consciousness into the unknown. Guaranteed to be on our most authentic behavior. High likelihood of laughter. Low risk of embarrassment (we’re all doing our worst, after all).
